World Record Fishing Video: Jack Mcguire caught the fish of a lifetime while visiting the fertile fishing grounds off Gustavus near the mouth of Glacier Bay. He was fishing for halibut with standard tackle when he hooked a not-so-standard fish. After a heart pounding tug of war, Jack landed a 482 pound halibut that was the second largest in recorded history. It would have broke the IGFA All-Tackle record if it were not landed by gun and harpoon, but it is still an incredible catch regardless of the landing methods.
